Our Chicago Home

This month we’re living in a high rise apartment in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. Our previous home was a basement apartment, and it was fine, but we are loving the big windows and city views and LIGHT of this place. There’s a nice supermarket close by, and we’re an easy walk from the Magnificent Mile (Michigan Avenue), Navy Pier, and the restaurants of our favorite chefs (Rick Bayless and José Andrés). I have already walked on the Lakefront Trail and the Riverwalk. This is going to be a great home base for exploring Chicago.
