Hard to Say Goodbye
Yes, it feels a bit crazy to have left our place in Water Street Tampa. We loved it there. Our beautiful apartment had panoramic views, an ideal kitchen, and nice neighbors. We were steps away from a big grocery store, the River Walk, Amalie Arena, and dozens of great restaurants. There were theaters, museums, and parks nearby. We rarely needed to drive. We found our groove there.
BUT. The reality is that with Maria no longer employed, we no longer needed (and could no longer afford) such a large apartment. So it seemed like the right time to become nomads again.
We will miss life in Water Street. We will also miss seeing our friends in Tampa, and Steve’s parents in Apollo Beach, and Maria’s mom in Jacksonville. We plan to spend time with other friends and family (especially our kids!) as we make our way around the country.
Tampa, we love you, and we promise that we will be back.
