Moving Day: Seattle to San Francisco
We took a short flight from Seattle to San Francisco. It was uneventful - just the way I like it - so there isn’t much to write about. Just a few thoughts:
Seattle-Tacoma Airport (SEA) is showing its age and in bad need of an overhaul.
Priority Pass lounges in the US are generally not worth the trouble to find them.
San Francisco Airport (SFO) is wonderful, especially after sad SEA!
The drive from the airport to downtown San Francisco is mostly the same as we remember it. The fog still sits on the hills west of the freeway, and signs still say “Candlestick Park.” But the city skyline is now dominated by the Salesforce Tower.
From a weather standpoint, San Francisco is definitely a better place to be than Tampa in late summer.
