On the Road: Tampa to NOLA

It’s about 675 miles from Apollo Beach to New Orleans, which was about 9.5 hours of driving, almost all of it on interstates. It was fine weather and smooth sailing. We made a pitstop at the Buc-ee’s travel center off I-10, just over the Alabama state line. It was Steve’s first experience with this cult favorite. The brisket sandwiches were delicious, and we took some tasty snacks to go.
