Our New Orleans Home

We’re staying in the Lower Garden District, in a historic 1850’s building designed by Henry Howard. Our 2nd floor apartment has 12-ft ceilings and a large balcony overlooking Magazine St. It’s a lovely and (mostly) quiet neighborhood, in a great location. Magazine St. is loaded with restaurants and shops, and the St. Charles streetcar is five blocks away. The French Quarter requires a longer walk - about 40 minutes - nothing we can’t handle.
