Savannah, Georgia
May 1st
What a treat to see our friends Kae and Florrie Geller in Savannah! We had a lovely picnic in the picturesque, historic neighborhood of Ardsley Park - Chatham Crescent. The streets are lined with oak trees dripping with Spanish moss, and the parks are beautifully manicured with oaks and palms. Gorgeous!
After our picnic, we headed over the famous Bluff Drive on the Isle of Hope - Savannahians' version of heaven. It really was remarkably beautiful - historic mansions with sweeping views of the water, with plenty of shade from majestic oak trees and cool breezes. Divine.
