Austin Friends

One of the perks of nomad life is the chance to see old friends and make new ones. I’ve posted already about the wonderful weekend we had with our kids. Here are more photos of fun times with friends in (and near) Austin.

It was energizing to hang out with our son Danny and his equally brilliant friends Yash and Aaron. Yash is Danny’s roommate and co-founder, and Aaron is their buddy from D.C.

We enjoyed meeting Mei’s friendly family - her parents Ellie and John and brother Andrew. They generously treated us to a huge feast with excellent Peking duck - wow!

I met Barbara through the Go With Less Facebook group, and we had a lovely walk together on Lady Bird Lake. I didn't think to get a photo with Barbara, but here’s a turtle we met along the way.

Sam is the youngest son of our good friends Hope and Dave. We enjoyed hearing about his job and life in Austin.

Arthur and Ally (and many others)

Arthur is Danny’s college roommate and co-founder, and Ally is his wife. They just bought a new house, and hosted a barbecue. It was fun meeting their friends and seeing their beautiful home.
